I was born in Lithuania, and have been a photographer since my childhood. My father was amateur photographer and I remember walking together on landscape photography trips, helping to put a camera on tripod or sometimes bored to wait for “perfect” moment to press the shutter. But much more fascinating was process in the darkroom (actually bathroom convertered a lab) - watching a paper sheet inside a bath with developer was like magic for me.

After 15 years at photography school I have learned lots of interesting things and was shooting with the same cameras my father used - then my journey into a wonderful world of creation of images begin.

Currently I'm exploring surrounding environment mainly as landscapes and cityscapes, trying to visualise ideas as abstract compositions by capturing real objects. Through my photographs I am representing the beauty of the places and spaces in which I live.

I continue to study photography today through hours of observation and through study and analysis of my shots when I return to my studio.

Currenlty specializing in the fine art landscape photography, cityscape architecture, some abstract and seascape work.
